From: "DaveG601XL" Jeff, Be safe on your second, first flight. If you have not run your engine in a while, a good looking over of the Bing would be in order. Make sure the bowl area is clean of a sediment/varnishing. Also make sure the slide piston moves easily and that there is no corrosion present. This is all typical things to look at. Personally, I would also run it a bit, including a static RPM check, and then remove the cowls and check things over one more time prior to the flight. After that...have fun!
