Subject: N601MX Flies Again
After over a year and a half of work=2C my plane is back in the air! After
the XL upgrade and addition a 5th bearing to the engine=2C the last hurdle
was to update my insurance which took a few days after the log book sign-o
ff. I've done a lot of ground testing and then flew about 1.5 hours this w
eek. The plane does seem a little heavier on the controls=2C but otherwise
flies just like she used to.
My plan now is to do more testing and then head off to Corvair College #20
next weekend=2C which is shaping up to be a great time. By far=2C the best
experience I've had in aircraft building has been the people I've met and
formed friendships with. There is no better crowd of people than the Corva
ir community.
