Subject: Cleaning aluminum

Now that I,m flying I have the desire to clean the plane up. I have tried
washing with dish soap and a product called Trailer Glitter to get the
"smuges, finger prints and crud" off the surfaces.
The previous washings removed the dirt and dust but not the "smuges". I
will most probably polish out most of the aluminum next year but want to
reserve the ability to paint some sections so what ever I use can't have
silicone or some other ingredient that would affect a paint job.
What to do - what to do????
