Hi guys,
I am preparing to make some of the major purchases for my instrument panel
and was hoping you all could offer opinion.
I was considering the MGL Voyager for my primary display but I have been
advised that the product is suspect but I was not given any details other
than the display might not be as bright as some others.
I was wondering if any of you guys have used the MGL products flown in
planes with the displays installed or might have some information I would
find valuable.
I have seen the products displayed at shows and installed in planes (on
ground) but I have never flown right or left seat with the systems in full
use. I have flown in one plane with their black/white screen and the MGL
radio (I loved the radio, clearest I have ever heard) and the display worked
as advertised.
I am aware of the Dynon products but the MGL has some features Dynon does
not and I really like those. However, if there are show stoppers I am not
aware of I would enjoy hearing from anyone who might offer any opinion.
Thank you,
Steve

Steve I suggest you go over to the MGL forum at http://www.mglavionicsusers.org/forum/index.php to get more information. The forum is independent of MGL but the company owner does contribute. The VAF forum is another good source for EFIS information.
I have the Enigma so I can't comment on the Voyager vs the competition but I can
tell you I have never read where the Voyager or other models are less bright
than the competition. I wish I had the Voyager or the new iEFIS just being released
with a touch screen, maybe the next panel.
