Subject: | RE: Shroud inlet / outlet options |
Hi Clinton,
Do I still need to purchase a separate "box" with a valve that opens and
closes to move the heat (or deflect) from cabin? Do I still need to plan on
ordering something like this from Zenair? Since I can't see the CARB HEAT
set up I don't know what I will still need.
Or something like this from Aircraft spruce?
I don't think I can answer which I need until I know how heat will actually
get in to the cabin. Do you have an image of the actual set up I would be
purchasing? At this point I am a little confused. I need to get air from
the cowl scoop in to the carb. This has nothing to do with the exhaust and
I guess I am too much a of a visual person but I do not see how this all
comes together.
IN picture 33807-4 I cannot see where the heat exchanger is located.
Steve

Steve,
As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, this picture of P/N 33208
shows a cabin heat shroud with 2'' diameter hose connections placed 90
degree's apart from each other.
P/N 33807-4 shows the cabin heat shroud with the hose connections inline
with each other.
