HI Larry,
May I have a copy of that spreadsheet? I am putting in an 0235 and it is a
heavy engine. I would love to run some the W&B numbers as I try to
determine where to put a battery.
I am building the 650B

Hi Ralph,
With my Stratus Subaru, I have a 9.8 gallon header with 7.1 gallon wing
tanks and my radiator is 34 inches aft of the firewall on the belly. Within
all variations I cannot get it out of CG unless it were loaded beyond 1300
lbs., my max utility wt.
Would think the Corvair would be close if not a bit forward on the CG.
I've a program you can have that you can modify numbers to run the
variations for your plane if you want it. It runs on EXCEL and is nicely
done and easy to use.

the 16 gal hdr tank since i also have the wing tanks. i am concerned the
hdr tk will put the w&bal out where i have to add weight to tail and don t
want that. anyone have exp with this or advice. i am also useing the
marvel s carb so i like the hdr tk which is pretty foolproof. thanks ralph

Contact Roger D. at ZAC. He will know every possible combination of engine,
w & B and batt location, etc. in the 601 series. Over the years he's seen
them all.
