Hi Carlos,
If all else fails, McMaster Carr has everything you could ever want for
your airplane.

The DAR experience is like this. They are protecting the public so they make sure
you did what ya said, and sign all the documents saying so. They want to
make sure your creation is labled correctly, my guy even gave me a missing lable
for the mixture. They also want to make sure you have a plan for testing your
creation.
An interesting thing happend when he asked me to move it out of the hangar and
start it up for him, it wouldn't start and it was spewing fuel out the air inlet.
He gave me the cirtificate anyway because he knew it was caused by something
I was gonna fix ( bad float in the carb).
So remember the Boy Scout Motto, Be Prepared and fret not.
The DAR will most likely come to wherever you have the airplane but he expects
it to be ready to fly with the inspection covers open so he can see your work.

Thanks for the info, Ron. Does your guy do central MN? I've heard a
variety of opinions, but you're the 1st one I've talked to that actually
had any experience.
Thanks again for sharing your experience. Enjoy your new toy!
