      This looks like an overrunning clutch. It allows the propeller to be driven
      by the engine but, if the prop tries to go faster than the engine, it
      "freewheels" and leaves the engine behind, so to speak. See the following
      where it seems some folks are heatedly discussing what it should be called

      I would recommend you contact manufacturers of overrunning clutches,
      sending your pictures and measurements, and see if they can point you to a
      specific model number. I would seriously doubt that NSI manufactured this
      part from scratch; there are too many existing standard parts that do the
      job and machining the little sprags and hardening them properly themselves
      would be uneconomical. Why not send all the information you can find to
