I have a couple of ideas, but would rather not reinvent the wheel... I have to tell you though... AC Spruce sells a disconnect Part 05-01036. It is nylon and fits the rubber hose ZAC sells perfectly. No leaks...simple and easy. However, Unless you plan on taking the wings on and off (much easier said than done) don't bother. It might s eem like a little thing but this will impact more than you realize. Steve Freeman 877-733-4390 Sent from my Mobile device. Please excuse the brevity and any typing errors. But this shows my brake line runs from gear under fuselage in to aircraft. I have a CH650. Your 601HD/S will be a lot different though. On the lines that are exposed to the elements I ran the brake lines inside an aluminum tube. This makes for a clean and I believe functional install. I can send pictures if you would like.
