Fellow Homebuilders, I have decided to go with a two-axis auto pilot in my RV-4 project and am selling my single-axis Navid AP-1. This is a brand new unit with all of accessories, manual, analog Loran/GPS input, and S-2 servo. It has never been installed. No scratches. Current price from Navaid is $1300 US. I will sell for $1100 plus shipping to anywhere in the world. I can accept Visa/MC. First come, first served. Please email me off list at dralle@matronics.com if you are interested. Below is a picture of the actual unit and included accessories. Makes sense to me, but not being an Aeronautical Engineer, I really hate to crash because of a couple added bolts. Seems like it would strengthen the steps on both sides. DO NOT ARCHIVE Thanks, Mike I need to search archives also... -------- Mike Miller @ millrml@aol.com 601 XL, 3300, Dynon Remember, "the second mouse gets the cheese"! First I drilled a couple of centering holes, pinned it and had it tig welded. It DOES add strength. If you search the Zenith archive you will see that we previously had a good discussion on this issue. He (or someone else) boxed it in with two "L" extrusions fastened to the bottom of the fuselage. -- Craig -----Original Message----- From: owner-zenith601-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-zenith601-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Tim Juhl Sent: Saturday, May 03, 2008 8:05 PM Subject: Zenith601-List: Re: Cabin Access Steps I also had mine welded. Thanks to all those the replied. I think a couple bolts would stiffen things up a bit.
