The strobes supplied by ZAC include a separate power supply for each strobe light. This allows a short set of wires between the flash tube and power supply which is advantageous from a radio noise point of view. Perhaps the single supply approach works well too, but it would certainly require shielded wire to the flash tubes. Looking at the servo; the other end the rod which attaches to the servo is a solid fit. I have decided to replace horn and drill it smaller this time. A 1/8" hole is called out on the drawing and manuals, what is the tolerance on that hole? When I tested the servo with 9Vs it was reeeaaaal sloooooowww but still difficult to move the tab in small steps using the Ray Allen rocker switch, I can how it may be tricky to fine trim. I have a heated Dynon pitot so I can keep the option open to certify for IFR without opening up the wing (if I ever want to pursue an IFR license). My plan is to have lights on both sides to I can wire up a wig-wag light to have a create a good visibility for my craft. I have had so many occasion where the ATC indicated traffic that I never saw against the city background that I want to go for good visibility. The second spar is now on the table so I officially started the second wing. - Maarten, San Antonio TX 601xl plans building wings > > Maarten, just wondering, did you install trim, lights, pitot etc. on the right > wing for weight distribution purposes? > > do not archive > > Terry Turnquist > 601 XL-Plans > ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 09:27:11 AM PST US Subject: Zenith601-List: Re: Right wing completed From: "Ron Lendon" I'm right there with you Maarten, I just started my second wing also. do not archive -------- Ron Lendon, Clinton Township, MI Corvair Zodiac XL, ScrapBuilder ;-) http://www.mykitlog.com/rlendon Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=182374#182374 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message zenith601-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Zenith601-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/zenith601-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/zenith601-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
