Subject: | Price drop on my QBK |
I've dropped the price on my quick-build-kit on Barnstormers to $19000. If
it doesn't sell at that price I guess I'll rent the other half of the hanger
the 701 is in and finish it.

Correction to my tie down ring response. I said I used (3) 3/8 bolts. I meant (3)
3/16 bolts.

And here are some drawings of the BRS-installation for Europe's CH601XL ULM. I
got them from Nick Heintz/Zenair Europe.

Thanks guys!
It continues to be a great experience. Yesterday I got up early and went out to
the airport. I topped off the tanks and went flying. I just flew around and
looked at stuff. By myself. WOW! That was a great experience. That was another
first for me to go to the airport by myself and just fly around.
A piper cub was getting fuel during one of my touch-and-go's and he radio'd me
to ask what kind of an engine I had. He he said he liked the sound of it. More
than anything, I get comments about how my engine sounds. No more questions
about what color it is going to be.
If you are building right now, just get it built. Don't worry about green vs red
scotch-brite or painting vs. polishing or powder-coating or changing the design
in any way - just get it built and fly it because it is a blast.
