When I purchased my Grove main landing gear, I was told I needed main gear supports from Zenair in Canada, since they supply them to AMD. Now that I'm at that point, I can't say that I understand how they mount. Do they work in conjunction with Zenith 6-B-11-4 (welded main gear attachment) or replace it? Does anyone have any drawings. Picture attached. Thanks. -------- Larry Winger Tustin, CA 601XL/Corvair from scratch Control surfaces and wings complete. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it replaces the piece of aluminum angle that is used with the normal gear. Those welded on pieces allow for the smaller (front to rear width) gear. The piece in the background goes on the bottom of the fuselage then the gear is sandwiched between it and the pieces in the foreground. Is that clear as mud? :) -------- W.R. "Gig" Giacona 601XL Under Construction See my progress at www.peoamerica.net/N601WR Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=191299#191299

After posting my question, I basically figured out what you just described. Now I just need to determine if the welded-on spacer goes toward the front or rear of the channel. Thanks, Gig.
