      Danny,

Try making some shims from 0.040 6061-T6. My spars were also bowed slightly
      as you described.
I inserted a picture below. If you can't see it, try viewing the email as
HTML, or email me off list and I can send you the file.
The two parts in the center of the picture are the attachment doublers, not
      shims.

I'm at the same point and have the same question.

Not sure how to move on.

So I am at that point where i'm attempting to fit my pre-drilled skin to the
      skeleton ( front/rear spar and 6 ribs)...

I'm basically having trouble lining up all the holes. I did find that
towards the outside of the stabilizer, the two spars are drawn in, closer to
each other (by about 4mm or so if i remember correctly) -- due to ribs 1 & 6
not having a spar doubler underneath it.

I have followed the directions closely -- there is no shim to go underneath
these ribs.. how have you dealt with this? when looking at the edge of the
skin laying on the skeleton, its clear that the spar bows outwards in the
center. do i straighten out the spar somehow? how? or do i just like up
the two holes at either end of the spar.. clamp.. and start drilling?
