Howdy, As mentioned earlier Alumiprep 33 is the go, it's my choice. It works like a charm using it with the green Scotch bright pads. Cheers Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=196851#196851

Tried looking thru the archives (maybe I'm doing something wrong here... ) looking for input from you more experienced chaps regarding SUBSTITUTING push/pull rods instead of stainless cables for the ailerons. Have heard mention of same in earlier posts discussing this but would really like to hear your thoughts and opinions. For example, would they provide more effective control than cables (thinking about any stretching of the cables.) Thank you. John Reinking Woodinville, WA

My 601XL is now flying, and it is hot here. I have found a wonderful air vent that others might want to try. It is from Vans. I got two for $18. I put one on the passenger side of the 601. It sticks out into the slipstream and blows a blast of air across to the pilot - even on the ground. I highly recommend it.
