Subject: | complete corvair package? |
Does WW offer a complete running Corvair engine package? Looked on his site and
did not see anything offered, only parts for rebuilds. If a complete engine is
offered what is the approximate cost?
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
WW doesn't offer built engines anymore. WW directs people who want complete engines to his buddy Kevin Fahey. Kevin's number is 386-290-3727 and his website address is http://www.vairforce.com . According to his website, he has two options for complete engines. One is priced at $7750 and the other $8750.

It should be pointed out that Kevin used to do (a lot, most, some) of the actual
build work for WW who has gotten out of the complete engine business. If I was
ordering one today I'd call Kevin because that is who WW would tell me to call.
One little piece of advice. Order early. The old saying, "If it is worth having
it is worth waiting for" really comes into play here.

To add to what Gig advises, plan on 9 to 12 months from order to
delivery. And, yes, it is worth the wait.
