They may be referring to it as a hinge because the "hingeless" version is a
ctually what is called a "living hinge".

Zenith's "presumption" is incorrect.
Did anyone notice that the diagram is a hingless aileron not a PH version,
yet
the paragraph refers to a hinged aileron. Is there a message here?
Does anyone with 650 plans have a PH version of this diagram?
