From: "Thruster87" In order to ensure accurate results, all tests were carried out on two different Zodiac aircraft. The significance of the flap stops called-for as part of the regular design was confirmed. The aircraft which did not at first have these installed showed less satisfactory results than Zenair's own standard demo plane (with stops) which was one of the tested planes. Zenair will be issuing a Service Letter very shortly calling for owners/pilots to check their flap stops (and to install them prior to further flight operations if these have not been previously fitted). I wonder what they mean by LESS SATISFACTORY RESULTS WITHOUT THE STOPS??????? Actually, this is a lot easier than cutting the existing skin since you can fit a template to the fuselage (I like styrene plastic sheet for this) and later position it to drill for the rivet line on the inboard rib. If you make a nice edge to the "Fairing" it looks like you planned it all along. Paul XL grounded At 03:46 PM 5/31/2009, you wrote: >Can someone give me the approx wing tip height from the ground.
