Jeff,
The design calls for skin protection plates which I plan to use. So the arm which
is hitting the rivet line of the wingtip will be moved inboard to allow for
the design factors.

This was looked at by many people from EAA Chapter 13 and this is the direction
I will be proceeding.
I talked to Zenith also and made my comments to them directly. The bottom line
here is to follow the design intent and have a safe result.
