I thought I would start out with a simple task to start(instead of the spars)but wouldn't you know it...? I can take a closer look but I think the L-angles are cut to fit whatever dimension "Cut two L Angles to fit in the Aileron." Since the skin was only 0.016" , I wanted some extra stiffness at the end of the L angle. It ended up looking like this. The angle is bent out a little so the edge won't catch on the servo wire when it is fit together. -------- Louis W. I've read some posts regarding the (in)accuracy of the static port, or airspeed pitot/static port combination. Is there consensus on whether the airspeed and static probes that come with the kit, or as described in the plans, is good to use? The placement is supposed to be on the outboard side of the rib that is the outside rib of the wing locker. Rib #5. This seem to be quite close to the fuselage to me. Maybe better to be placed out a couple more ribs? -------- Louis W.
