Ok Ask twice measure twice cut once..

on the FWD NACA ducts in the cabin, is the rear face (straight part) supposed to
run at 90 deg to the flat top longeron?

I have the older plans and the new plastic NACA duct. At the moment it is sitting
nicely between the L angles but they run at an angle and so the rear of the
cut out would not be 90 deg to the horizontal.
      chris..

       Chris,

The photo shows where I placed mine. I put it in that location and attach
ed the eyeball outlet directly to the plastic duct outlet.

      Hi, Chris!

My favorite solution is to used the aluminum Aveo Ball Vent with a 1.75" rear sleeve,
popped right into the outlet of the NACA vent. A couple of wraps of tape
around the sleeve makes for an airtight fit between the vent and the duct, and
      you're done!

Here are a couple of shots of my installation, one with the sleeve only installed,
and another with the vent part threaded in. Easy peasy.
