hey I have the 2006 fiberglass nose wheel fairings I have the photo guides but the WFO-1 plans do not show the size of the sloping Aluminum strip that is riveted to the front portions of the wheel fairing. Everything else was in the kit but the 2 brackets.. (and they are not on the plans).. So what size and thickness are they please? and I will make them.. Chris.. The LAA modifications for the UK fleet set a compulsory maximum fuselage weight of 494kg, 1087lbs following their re-analysis of the airframe. It still leaves a reasonably payload but does indicate the apparent short comings their saw in the design do exist. -------- Pete Morris Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=288318#288318

Chris, I made mine out of some scrap .025 I had lying around. It fits the whole length of the cut (minus a few mm each end) and is about 50mm wide in total. I riveted the plate to the front and has nut plates for the rear half. Next time out at the hangar (tomorrow) I'll take a picture or two. Gang on 6-G-1 the Nose wheel axle spacers are 31 mm on my plans 03/06 now on the update the spacers are 33.4 mm ( about the thickness of another washer?) anyone know the reason behind the change to the longer spacer? were they not doing up tight enough before bottoming out? anyone know chris Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=288446#288446
