The problem seems to be with the VDO gauges(P/N301-020) as recommended. Bench testing with the sender out of the tank I can not get the gauges to read above 3/4. I adjusted the screw which did not improve. Any suggestions for other gauges or how to make what I have work. It can also accept a manually entered cruising speed if an ASX-1 instrument is not available * Standard automotive fuel level senders can be used, even with odd shaped tanks due to a comprehensive, multi-point calibration system -- Craig _____ From: owner-zenith601-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-zenith601-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Bob McArdle Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2010 10:22 AM Subject: Zenith601-List: VDO fuel gauges Since the wings are opened I decided to calibrate the fuel gauges, which I have not been happy with the first time. The senders (Zenith supplied) test OK (10 Ohm=full, 70Ohm=empty).
