Where are the sections on a 601 HDS wing that will support the plane underneath? I plan on replacing the nose bungee and in addition to tying down the tail and lifting up on the engine, I would like to place a support under each wing in case of failure. My guess is that the support point would be under the area where we walk on the wing. The wings were off when I did these, but you could make a set that supports the spar area as shown here. You may have to adjust the angle a bit, but I replaced bungees one at a time while on this rig. Lift the airplane, set in the pin. or just place the support under the spar. See attached image.
