I presume they are on zenith.aero - I know of no other site/mailing list dedicated to ZAC products. Personally, I find zenith.aero is nice for an occasional "look around", but I find all the discussion and information is spread / diluted, so I find it difficult and impractical to use in the same manner I use/used this list. So I am still around. Cheers Carlos CH601-HD, plans Getting ready to rivet that rear fuse. Earlier on this list, some suggested using a Michelin S-83 scooter tire, but those are 3.5 x 8, which the local tire store says won't fit on the W80CC-**Z. I'm flying my plane down to Mexico in a couple weeks, and want to have the toughest tires possible. Any recommendations? They do fit the rims nicely. I like them better because they were better balanced and they are slightly smaller. I have had Nanco 4.80 x8 tires on a 601 HDS that I have owned for almost 3 years and 200+ hours. 9 out of 10 o f my landings are on grass. Do you think that the Michelin S-83 scooter tire would be good for grass airstrips? Actually, just writing this note is talk ing me into Nanco, but I am willing to listen to other opinions. Thanks. We have a terrible economy, and the controversy over the XL design has been resolved. I hope anyone who has ideas to discuss or questions for other builders (rather than the factory support folks) they will post them here and on the factory controlled site as well. They are a better profile for airflow and the size does fit the W80CC-Z wheels just fine. I keep 25 psi on them and I think they look good and ground handling is excellent. The small footprint doesn't jerk like fatter tires do on touchdown. These roll in grass well because of the major diameter. I've recommended these for a long time. For toughness, I'd suggest with any tire, put a spare in the wing locker and place the tools to fix a flat inside the tire in the wing locker.
