Guys, I fly out of a grass field and the Matco tires are the minimum foot print for sand or mud. I have seen dried mud an inch or so up my wheel pants after a flight. I would not want a thinner or smaller tire for turf. Even when the grass is fresh cut it leaves stains on the pants. Fire ant beds are another hazard causing the tires to settle into the soft sand and drag the wheel pants. To fly without the wheel pants makes my CHT's go up a few degrees due to turbulence around the nose wheel. Hello, Michel I thought of that, but you wheels/tires are too big... But thanks for the offer. Anyone need an Airborne 212CW dry air pump? I have it on E-bay but I will sell it cheaper to a Zenith builder, or trade for something! Fits Lyc, Continentals, Jabaru's. It's on E-bay as 180883093866. Contact me off list at 920-237-1450. Joe
