I'd be very concerned about wedging something in the space under the
aileron as a gust lock. I've seen people use two flat pieces of wood,
6 to 8 inches long, with a non-skid facing, at top and bottom of the
aileron-flap gap, holding it all together with a threaded rod and a
couple of wing nuts. It comes apart quickly, and stows in a small bag.
