Hey gang,
Phase 1 is complete today. As a matter of fact my first flight out of area was
to Hillsdale to return the borrowed Prop to Brother Roy. If he had not done that,
I would have been a month later getting to this point.
Its looking like I will be flying my creation to Oshkosh. One squawk is the radio
not transmitting, the other is a minor oil leak. Otherwise, we are moving on
to Phase 2, which will start with a bath and an oil change. Yesterday I made
10 landings at different small grass strips while gathering performance data,
that and the oil leak makes for an interesting belly on the airplane.
My hangar mate made signs, all laminated and such, so it would be a shame to not
use them.
