Looks like the pilot flaired too high...=C2- everything looks bent downwa
rd...=C2- Whenever we have an emergency landing, Please fly the plane all
the way down to touch down, even if we dont like the ground below.=C2- O
ur planes are designed spin resistant, but they do stall if pulled too high
.

Sad News
A 601 crashed near Kenosha WI on the way to EAA Sunday I believe. the aircr
aft departed Bowman Field in Louisville KY on Sunday
The two on board were found in the aircraft when it was located. they did n
ot survive. Please keep their loved ones in your thoughts.
The plane was located by the pilots cellphone signal.
Form the video the airframe looks intact with the wing and horizontal stab
pretty much in the correct positions. The video shows a close up of the sid
e of the fuselage and you can see that the T doubler is there, indicating t
he wing mod had been done. and since the wings are both where they are supp
osed to be it doesn't look like a structural failure.
Engine looks to be a Jabiru 3300 from the vid.
