My battery would almost be fully charged when I got back to my hangar. I also
installed a electronic ignition on the left side and changed the right ignition
coil for a later model hotter Honda generator coil ( part no. 30500-Z1C-023
). When hot I start the engine with the right mag on and wait until one revolution
before turning on the electronic ignition because it does not have a retard
method. The engine is always running before I can flip the switch on for
the electronic ignition. I had to change carburetor jets for nearly a year until
I got a usable set. I then found out that Jabiru had found out the same ones
but I had not heard. I still have some leaner RPM's than I would like between
2500 and 2750.
