One question regarding the wing attachment bolts to the cabin frame:
The bolts supplied in my kit are AN5H bolts (heads drilled for safety wire). I
can't find anything in the plans that show a safety wiring requirement. I'm
not even sure it's needed since the nuts are AN365 with the fiber locking insert.
Any thoughts?

P.S. - isn't it nice that I don't have to specify I'm talking about a CH701? Thanks
for the new list, Matt!

Bolts used in this location on certified airplanes (Super Cub, Pacer, Champ
etc) are undrilled as there is no rotation on the bolt, Super Cub bolts are
even installed upside down. I guess you could safety wire them together or
drill a small hole in the little gusset on the wing attach fitting. Maybe
they just sent drilled bolts because that's what they had,
yeah no kidding, gone all week and no moaning, wringing of hands,
scotchbrite, insurance,
bad mouthing, name calling or other assorted crap. Yeaaaaa Matt !!!, you
get a raise next contribution time !! LO&SLO John
