Southern Fly, This may be of interest to you. I got it form the 601 side if the Hizz-Aaa: Engine package: last flown on April 19. The most recent condition inspection was done in March 08. Lockwood Aviation serviced the engine in December 07. There is no visible or otherwise known damage. I will sell the firewall forward, the canopy assembly and any non-structural components. The fwf is a "Skyshop" clone (912ULS with vacuum pump, prop extension, hd starter, air box, slipper clutch, Woodcomp composite prop and spinner and composite upper and lower cowlings). I also purchased a friction lock type throttle (A-810) for the left side only. The right side is the supplied t-handle. I filed the nylon bearing in the friction block down to zero friction so it acts as a guide only. I'm not flying, but my engine is running and so far it seems like a good plan. Seems like a great list of mods, but I'm just curious: do you know how much the airplane weighs? Dan Ginty N787DG Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=181057#181057

FWIW: On my initial flight, my plane was nose heavy on the stick. Straightening the trailing edge of the elevator has solved this problem. Dan Wilde

    Subject: 701 Fuel Tanks
    From: "Tommy Walker" <twalker@cableone.net>
Listers, I have two NIW (New In Wrapper) :D 10 gallon fuel tanks for a 701 for sale. Well they aren't new, but they haven't been used. Included are sending units and VDO gauges. The are left over from a 701 project I bought. They have the top mounted sending units. The only problem with them is that the fuel filler neck is on the same side for both tanks. If you are interested, please let me know by private email. I looked them up on the Zenith web site and they list for over $900.00. Make an offer if you are interested. I am located in Alabama.
