Subject: | Zenair Newsletter |
I submitted an ad and an article to Jon Croke's Zenith Newsletter. My intention
was to help Jon as he took over the newsletter. I thought that my contribution
would be light reading.
When I got the newsletter, I started to browse through the pages. Well, while
the former editors did a great job, I was starting to think, "ho hum" there
didn't seem to be much that was of interest to me.
While reading, I came across an article by Gus, the builder/mechanic down in Florida.
I can only say that I continue to learn. There is some valuable, basic
information in that story. I found a good way to drill through tubing! I
don't know if I would have figured that out by myself.
"Our" own Scott Laughlin also has a great article on building his 601. Very interesting
reading folks.
The Matronics lists are great. I have learned a lot and contributed a few minor
points during the last 5 years.
My point is, check out Jon's Newsletter. You can help yourself and other builders.
As you know, it is also the official voice for the designer to communicate
to builders. Plus, the crazies that get their jollies out of creating
controversy get filtered out of the newsletter....

Exactly right Mr Walker,
I've subscribed to the Zenair News several years and Jon's first issue
as publisher is much improved and a good informational value. It's well done
and they have a site at www.zenair.org
And if like me, you are reluctant to put your credit card number on the
Internet, you can phone your Subscription Request directly
at 1-920-825-7731 Mon thru Sat Central Standard Time and preserve your
personal security.
