Does anyone have a bungee installation tool that I could borrow? I would be happy to pay the freight to Alaska and back. Bill Wilcox N801BW 405 hrs Off floats and back on wheels. Thinking of keeping the 82" prop on and installing an AL block to raise the nose. ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 09:32:43 AM PST US From: "sam hord" Subject: Zenith701801-List: paint After painting rudder pedals and front gear; I found that they would not fit through the bearings. What is the best way to correct this? ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 09:55:08 AM PST US From: Zed Smith Subject: Zenith701801-List: Test A test to see if things are working properly. do not archive Zed ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 01:40:09 PM PST US Subject: Zenith701801-List: Re: paint From: "n85ae" Remove the paint. The bearings will wear it away anyway. Just keep it with some type of corrosion preventive on the bare metal. Pretty much all the MIL-C-81309 derivatives work well. I don't like ACF-50 too much though as it climbs everything in site and everything attached to it will become oily. Corrosion-X is pretty good. As is CRC Corrosion Shield.
