I'm seriously considering a WW Corvair. Not 100% sold on it yet. Fuselage is on wheels and has tail section attached. Wings are 80% complete Control surfaces all done expect 1/2 of 1 slat and 1 aileron Again not sure if it will be up for sale yet will know more in a couple of months just wanted to know if there was any interest. I hope you can find a way around it. I only have a scratch built rudder, stab and elevator, but I can't imagine selling it, its kinda part of me, so anyway I'm wishing you good fortune! From: "jetboy" I'll second that....info on your experiences welcome. FWIW I was short 2 - 300 rpm with my Jabiru prop for the first 200 hrs then I had a more suitable prop made. Now climbs at 3200 rpm on some days it can get over 3300. this prop is 64 x 30" wood looks similar to the Sensenich that is available in US. For the revmaster it might have to be a smaller dia. because of higher rpm. Every inch off the dia needs an extra 2" to the pitch for same engine load. The prop change was the turning point in the development of the powerplant for me. Until that time I did not know if the engine was short due to wrong intake, carb or exhaust. From: "Dwight Early" The prop is, I think 60 x 32 Prince P Tip. I haven't sent it back for rework. I am having to much fun flying it! It will get off the ground in about 300' and climb about 600 fpm, I know this is short of everyone else's performance. The exhaust Left is running 1285 deg. Right is 950 deg. Heads, left 290 deg and right is 180 deg. It is consuming 5 gals per hour and with the current prop cruise is 70 mph at 2800 rpm. I hope a pitch change will bring rpm's up 300 more which would be 3200 This is all I know about it right now. (It sure is a ton of fun to fly!) The Revmaster is a great engine, I had one in a Sonerai. It is priced right also. -------- Dwight Early Kitfox 1/532 Zenith CH701/Revmaster Daleville, In Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 8226#208226 ________________________________ Message 7 _____________________________________ Time: 04:30:25 PM PST US Subject: Zenith701801-List: Re: changing bungee From: "Dan Stanton" Bill, I have a home made rig that I used for our plane.
