Would those building and/or flying a 701 with the Corvair engine PLEASE
post some updated info on how things are progressing? PLEASE? Thank you.

I'm sure when I set my flaperons, I used a strait edge off the trailing edge of
the wing and pulled the outboard flaperon up until its trailing
edge touched the strait edge. The inboard was then set a few degrees lower. Is
the outboard really on the same plane as the top of the wing?
inboard flapperon part is to be set on the same plane as the
top of the wing, basically zero degrees from it.

Bob,
I recall that this subject came up before so I suggest you check the old
zenith-list archives. If I remember correctly, the factory suggested not to
deploy a negative flapperon angle. What works on another plane, with a
different wing and flap/aileron will not necessarily work on a 701.
