Tracy,
I use an 8 lt collector tank behind the baggage compartment with shut-off
valves at each wing root to control fuel flow. My return goes to the
collector. An emergency shut-off in the main line at the instrument panel
cuts off all flow from the collector. Works well for me.

I have been thinking of getting a different fuel shutoff ,of course I always want
to ad more weight and complexity to the aircraft!!!
how did you control the fuel on the overflow tank? how did you keep that from
overflowing?

Tracy,
Continued from my last post yesterday. Have three 1/4 brass ball valve
purchased at Princess Auto for $4. a piece. The emergency shut-off on the
instrument panel is ON and is never OFF except during maintenance or
emergency. The valve on the left tank is OFF except for long Xcountries,.
The right is turned OFF after flight and stays OFF until the next start to
test the LOW FUEL warning light in the collector then ON for TO. On a long
xcountry I turn it OFF when the collector LOW FUEL warning come ON steady
and then feed the left tank.
