Another option is the "super siphon" from Lockwood. They are listed in the
catalog for about $8.00. Of course, one could transfer from the 5 gal
container to a 3 gal container to have more control on the high wings.

We've been flying the 801 every weekend and having a blast! What a fun aircraft!!
I really miss the night flying so it's time for some lights.
Any feedback on brands for nav lights and strobes?
I plan on buying some soon and would like to do it right the first time.
I think I want LED type. If anyone has had particular success with something I
would love to hear about it.

I used to own a CH2000. It had a 20 gallon gas tank behind the back luggage area.
I was wondering if anyone had considered this type of fuel storage approach in
an 801.
It's a cavernous expanse back there.

I LOVE my 801 too. !!!!! I bought the Zenith stuff,,, Aeroflash, and so
far it seems to work great. I hope you ran the wire in the rudder or you
r tail light will have to be mounted somewhere at the rear of the fusela
ge...
