Subject: | Front fork weight |
Hey Guys, anybody have the 701 fork/doubler laying around that
they would be able to weigh? Might be able to save a pound or two if
ONLY I knew how much I was starting with THANKS

I have a circa 2001 kit that I'm building. It has the older flat side doors with
metal sides and upper window.
I've seen a few doors like this that were "bubbled." I was wondering if anyone
had any plans or ideas about how to form a bubble door out of the older style?
I think Skyshop used to supply a door like this, but I understand they don't sell
to zenith builders any longer.
Any comments/ideas appreciated.

Hi Tommy:
I would go ahead and get the new bubble doors. I was going to paint the bottom
half of my bubble doors so they would look more like the other airplanes out there.
I am so glad I didn't. Half the time, I am looking down through the bottom
of the doors. Such great visibility. Can see so much more!
Expensive, but well worth it.
