I have the slats finishes as well as the rudder and horizontal stab and flaps. I have tools rivet gun air and mechanical, I purchased aluminum for tanks and started building them but might be scrap now I was going to rivet them and proseal but I think they may be too large for the wing cavity by a couple of mm. Unfortunately I have been transferred and must sell my house and most of my projects. If anyone is interested I will send pics and more details. The 801 is a great kit and I had much pleasure from building it to this point. The rest of the kit still needs to be purchased. I also have a lycoming o-435 pickled from 1945 that at first I thought I might use it's a great 180 HP engine but it may be difficult to get overhauled. I have all hard lines (alum & AN fittings) in the cabin. The only rubber fuel lines are in the wing root and from the firewall to the engine . I have not fuel smell at all.
