If that was your post Randall, it really helped to succinctly identify
the problem, especially the drooping tip. You will note that I
removed the names to protect the guilty. Thanx Jeff for your input
as well. Nice to know that a bit of filler is OK.
Had a great back and forth with Caleb at the big Z farm and he
provided some excellent tips (and a big hug) which allowed me to get
the puppy pretty decent in with an extra set of hands. And yup, I
used a bit of the heat gun to relieve any residual stresses when I had
everything pulled, pushed and rotated just right.
Boy, you talk about a complex surface! I dont think ill ever pass
by an aircraft equipped with Hoerner wing tips without running up
and ..... well never mind.
Thanx to all for getting me through another bump!
Cheers Cpt Vic

Thinking back on it, those tips drove me nuts. I was wishing they'd
gone to some simple one piece fiberglass ones that would just rivet on.
Cheap at any price! (alomost)
The wing root fairings were the other frustrating things for me to
build! After building 4 or 5 different ones, I still haven't got them
right. Finally gave up and put em on....
