Hello list members.
Recently, I experienced the same as many on the list that the Ducati
Regulator/rectifier stopped charging my battery.
I contated a gentleman by the name of Schicke of Schicke electronics in
Germany and asked if he would sell/export to Iceland?
That was not a problem, "just send me the money and I will send you the GR
6 regulator".
I sent him the payment directly to his bank through my bank and waited for
him to reply when the payment had arrived.
It has been almost three weeks now and nothing from the company. I have
sent him e-mail to see if he has received the payment, but no reply.
My question to the list is. Has anyone ordered a regulator from this
company Schicke electronics in Germany?
I know the question is a bit late, but I did see someone on the list talk
about the regulator and reccomended it instead for the Ducati, because the
Ducati would overheat and not last as long as the GR 6. That is why I
placed the order but am beginning to regret the hasty action.

For listers in the Montreal, Trois Riviere, La Tuque, Lac St Jean/ Saguenay,
Gaspe, Sherbroke areas. Flight of four aircraft, three 701 amphibs, are
planning
to visit these areas during the week of 6-12 Jul. Two of us have been flying
701s for 15 years and have a total of 2000 hrs on type.
Would be fun to meet with owners/builders. Plans are flexible and still
being developed.
Anyone interested please contact me off list for details.
