Alvin, We started with about 13 degrees and went to 10 and eventually, about 11 degrees worked best for us. You might want to shoot for about 5200 rpm on the ground at full power. We tied our main gear down first so we didn't have to worry about the aircraft being drug forward by the engine. Good luck, Tommy Walker in Alabama Do Not Archive The term mayday used for signaling for help (after SOS), comes from the French word m'aidez, which is pronounced "may day" and means "Help Me."

I have 8.50x6 on the mains. I looked into having an 8.50 nose fork bent but it was a couple of grand more than I though I wanted to spend. If you really go into places that need that big of tires I suspect you will tear up the plane. This spring I was in and out of a 350' strip where the plane was sinking in about 1". I would not go in with two but with one it worked. I too would like to see pics! Bill Wilcox Valdez, Alaska N801BW 460 hrs On floats! Does anyone know what type of modifications need to be done to a CH-801 to accomidate 26 - 30 inch Tundra tires and what tire size/mods need to be don e to the front gear nose fork if a larger tire was placed there as well?- I'm just curious to find out what-expenses might be incurred outside of the standard kit tires Jay Parker
