Has anyone tried to build the elevator trim tab like the ch750 i would like to
get the tab incorporated in the elevator. Looks cleaner and less chance of me
giving it hanger rash.
Thanks
Dave

Subject: | Re: Fuel caps - reducing syphonig |
Hello all,
I am about to paint my plane and desperately need to stop fuel spilling down the
top of the right wing when full. I am looking for snorkle caps (pitot style
caps if you will). I have searched and searched the forum. I find discussion
about the caps in several places but no pointer that I can use to purchase the
things. Someone said they had purchased a set from "Wag Aero". If Wag Aero
has such, I cannot figure out which to purchase. None of the caps on wag aero
with pictures match what I am looking for.
Aircraft spruce has 1... for $98. Still, I have no idea if it is the correct size.
I have my plans in front of me. The tank drawing does not dimension the
cap opening. What size is the cap?
I have heard that Zenith has plans for making your own. I have access to the builder
site at Zenith. Can someone point me to that information?
Any pointer is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Ernest,
Had a hard time finding the ones that I used online , they are listed in
the catalogue as E-481-000 from Wag Aero.

(http://store.wagaero.com/product_info.php?products_id=8107) They worked great for me, no more fuel on the wings except
for me spilling some while fueling :).
You install on the tank and then bend the tube so it faces forward. Use a
tube bender so that you do not kink the tube.

Maybe give Zenith a call. I think they made up a set for the factory demo 701.

Subject: | CH701 angle for 60mm 4130 tube on wing front mount |
Hi All
On my plans I can't seem to find the angle for the two 60mm 4130 pieces
behind the front wing mount
the alloy tubes slide into. There is a vertical angle but no horizontal ?
Anyone know the angle?
Thanks Graemecns
