Since the wing is behind the engine under some attitudes the wing can be below the engine, since pitch rotates about the wing cg.. If one looks at gravity feed during high pitch angles such as take off and steep climbs gravity feed is marginal. I installed an electric pump (Facet) and always use it on take offs and on any field where a go around might be required. IMO install a backup pump and use it. I put mine on the lower firewall and it has been problem free for 150+ hours. I'm about 30% complete, and am leaning towards this configuration, but would like any airspeeds that you have been experiencing such as stall speed, and approach. I don't want to hurt myself the first time around the pattern. Roger Atwater, Ca. So far I haven't been able to get much info. I"ve tried jabiru usa about the engine, but they won't even answer my e mail much less give me the TBO and other info i've asked for, makes me wonder how much service I would get if I bought their engine. Good luck. Frank Goodnight Brownsville , TX.
