Otherwise like you said it wouldn't work. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:04:26 AM PST US From: "BokKat" Subject: Zenith701801-List: Haiti Unrelated to building airplanes, it is too bad there wasn't a fleet of 701's, 801's, 750's down there. These would be ideal aircraft to haul relief supplies, at least some injured people, observation, etc. They could get in and out of places that normal aircraft could not. They're not heavy lifters, but ideal for a lot of disaster relief! ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 07:12:52 AM PST US From: Keith Ashcraft Subject: Re: Zenith701801-List: Haiti I was thinking about that also. I think an average 701 should be able to carry around and extra 200-250# into a somewhat remote area. That is a lot of water, food, and supplies. The hinge attaches to a U shaped piece of aluminum that is attached to the tube frame. The bubble door instructions show the piece - my kit came without it but Zenith shipped them to me in a few days after I talked with Shirley at the factory. The hinge is at 90 degrees when the door is closed and about 180 degrees when open. The U channel also allows for accurate adjustment of the door for a good fit in the closed position. In several years this has never been an problem but with rougher ground conditions and possibly deteriorating nw suspension bungee the top of the tube sliced off the cable. Just a heads up for you guys still working on this stage.. this incursion area needs to be rethunk. -------- Ross Aalexander: CH701 driver 912ul 380tt Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=281871#281871 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message zenith701801-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Zenith701801-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/zenith701801-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/zenith701801-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
