Subject: | Autocad DWG files |
I am a 701 & 750 scratch builder, and in order to make things more interesting for both of my builds, I am planing, among other things, to build a CNC machine in the coming year. The " MechMate " unit ( check out the following site ) http://www.mechmate.com/ will be built with a 5' x 12' table, so that complete 12' aluminum sheets can be process by the machine.
My question to fellow Matronics List members is this. Does anyone have, or have
access to Autocad DWG files for the 701 & 750, that they would be willing to
share.? I am quite aware that I can spend my time drawing them myself, however
my time would be better spent assembling, and flying, then by spending weeks
in front of the keyboard, drawing DWG files, especially if they have already been
done by another builder.
If I were to get help in obtaining the necessary 701 & 750 files, as a courtesy,
cutting out some assorted parts for a fellow builder, would not be out of the
question.
A big thank you, to all those of you, who will take the time to address my concerns.
Robert

I used a pulley on the cable and two springs (for redundancy) to pull
the down elevator cable to the right. It is attached to the bottom
gusset on the mid fuselage "L" frame.

Subject: | CH701 builders & fliers - Tunnel & Seat front questions |
All CH701 builders/fliers,
On page 7-F-11, in the center of the page, to the right of drawing 1&1A, there
is a view showing the section of the tunnel mated with the seat front. I see there
are 2-"L" that are shown about midway up on the inside of the tunnel.
I don't see these depicted on any side views of the tunnel, and the assembly guides
do not mention installing these.
Any ideas?
Keith
