And for the most part it worked. Just be sure to fit the pitch control rod last. I think I had to cut about 15 mm of the end to get the 30 mm slot right. I still get elevator cable tension of 30 lbs when I move the stick to the side. I am going to try 10 lbs and see if that helps. The main reason that I went with a separate bell crank was that my cable was seriously rubbing on the channel. I now have a good inch of clearance. Yes, we have clearance of the top cable over the back of the channel. Not much, but it does clear. I like your idea of the separate control.
