I agree with Doug that 18 gauge is plenty. You might consider running a 4th wire
as a future spare. You can strip it out or not before closing the wing. I left
one in for future use as a snake for new or replacement wires....Geoff

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I know 100LL from auto gas but not
WATTS from AMPS.
Still going to look at replacing those bulbs but will feel better now.

Subject: | Re: Trimming the CH-750 Elevator skins |
I had another builder send me an offline message. He'd gotten his info from Roger
at the factory that said they needed trimming.
Since this is not my plane and I am trying to function like an instructor or "Tech
Counsellor" I asked the builder how much he wanted to leave. I explained
that the minimum would be about 8mm from the rivet centerline and the maximum
would be the approximately 25mm the un-trimmed skins were. He decided to trim
to 15mm. I would have gone to 10mm myself but it is his plane and I want him
to make his own decisions. Since he was erring on the side of caution, I supported
his decision.

List:
I purchased Electric Bob's AeroElectric Connection some ten years ago and was very
surprised to receive an updated CD of the publication about a month ago.
Ten years of updates to the electric 'bible' at no cost and unsolicited. Unbelievable.
I have since printed out a completely new copy of the publication and in comparing
the two I discovered that a few chapters had no change so I suggest you compare
the CD with your copy before reproducing it.
If you do not have a copy yet I highly recommend you get one. His website is >www.AeroElectric.com<.

Stan, didn't you receive is as a thank-you gift from Matt Drale (for your
list contribution)?
It was the case with me - I had forgotten about it, but received it late Jan
or early Feb... Much later then in previous years.

Carlos:
You are sharp. I was just a minute ago sorting my income tax info and discovered
that it was a thank-you gift.
