Space is pretty tight in my garage. The get the plane to fit with the engine
the door from the garage into the house had to be removed.
A while ago I found that the forward mount points for my horizonal
stabilizer were 10mm to far inboard to mount to the fuselage. I ended up
unzipping the entire structure and was able to get them moved out. The angle
got reamed out a bit, so I took the holes/rivets up to A6 to be safe.
I don't have h-stab truly mounted yet, just clamped on.

Yes. John has a VERY understanding wife. He didn't say it but he has a
doormat at the front door that reads:
"A pilot and a normal person lives here"

I'm sorry but the prize for the most understanding wives goes to:
- the guy who used his Jabiru 3300 under a glass cover as a coffee table in
his home
- the guy who was/is building his plane in his living room (or was it his
dayroom?).

John, have you verified the thickness of you front H-Stab mounts? I had to open
up my H-stab and upgrade from the 040 originally in my plans to the 063 in the
newer plans.
I ask because your kit/plans and my plans are from approximately the timeframe(if
I remember correctly).
